Thought the “medal” was really naff. I was told it was environmentally friendly but am I being cynical to think that it was to save money? If you feel strongly about the environment then competitors should be given a t shirt instead of a “medal”. Medals are getting bigger with the only reason being that people like a medal so either give a decent medal or a t shirt.

Was great ideally would be better if it was a circuit and not having to run back on yourself. I know prob couldn't do that with where it was. Had a great time today and very happy smashed my PB and was my sons 2nd official run. Had a great time and everyone was fantastic and professionally organised. WELL DONE! X

My first time doing this race. A good route. Fab marshals. Just sadly let down by the amount of loose dogs on the course. Understandably there is nothing the event organisers can do. Hopefully next year there will be less rain beforehand so less puddles!

Bit congested at the start and first turnaround point with the front runners sharing the same narrowish path as the slower ones.
Apart from that, I enjoyed it, nice atmosphere and lots of nice places to refuel afterwards in Deal!

I thoroughly enjoyed this event and was made to feel really welcome. You cannot fault the effort that the Deal Tri club have put into this event and I would love to thank all of them for their efforts I truly enjoyed the event. Maybe a Event T-Shirt would be a good addition for next year.

Great run and organisation

Had a great run here. Loads of encouragement and easy number collection. Well organised event.

Need more toilets as people queuing to use 2 ladies toilet’s.

I really enjoyed this event - this was my first event after a injury , it was such a good atmosphere, the Deal tri club were very good with marshalling and giving support and encouraging words.
It's the sort of event that you want to keep on giving - my fellow team mates think the same..Unfortunately I didnt do as well as previous times .. but it's my first time back .i was so pleased it didnt rain too.

Second time running this and is always well organised and enjoyable.

It does get very busy down the seafront though and pedestrians, cyclists and especially dogs do tend to hinder a fair bit. Also, quite congested after the turnarounds with runners coming at you the opposite way on tight sections.

Always a nice little local run though.

This will be controversial but, I am not a fan of the wooden medals now being issued at deal events. I know it’s about sustainability but they are very light, delicate and just nowhere near as nice. Sorry
