Bot narrow in places.

Are Deal Tri too tight to spemd money on a nice medal, nibbles at the end for a feel good factor, and/or dare I say it, a t-shirt, or is pulling in the purse strings more important than enhancing the club reputation by doing nice things? Deal Tri are a great club, but seem to let themselves down by being too tight with their own races.

You know the phrase 'swings and roundabouts' - well this race is flat as a pancake....but there's nearly always a bit of wind to contend with in one direction or the other.....or if you're really unlucky the wind seems to catch you in both directions - ha ha!

However, I come back year after year because it's a smallish race and very friendly, marshals are extremely encouraging and supportive, especially love the race commentator who is always very upbeat and jokey!

Should the race increase any further in size then I really do think there will need to be more toilets available - this year there were only two toilets available for female entrants and that's really pushing it with the race getting delayed so that everyone can get to the toilet beforehand.

Only downside is running passed finish to go to Deal pier for last mile?! Otherwise, terrific 5 mile race
