Event Overview:
The Deal Castle 5 Mile offers an accurately-measured, fast and flat promenade race. Organised by Deal Tri, this popular annual event always attracts a decent entry, with the course offering genuine pb potential if weather conditions are favourable. And, it's a bit of a corker. We cordially invite you to join the fun!

Course Details:
The race is a precisely measured circuit, staged utilising the seafront promenade and a short section of the unmade surface at Wellington Parade and Boundary Road, Kingsdown. The route is an out and back figure of eight course. There will be a water station at approximately 2 miles and and at the finish.

Directions

Race HQ: Sea Scout Hut, along the promenade near the public toilets on Marine Road.

By Car:
The race start is located on the promenade, adjacent to Deal Castle. To reach Deal Castle, follow directions from the M2-A2 to Dover, then A258 to Deal and then the directions to the seafront and Deal Castle. The Sea Scout Hut will be open from 2 hours before the race start, where your number and chip will be available to collect.

By Train:
Deal Train Station is approximately half a mile away from Deal Castle.

By Bus (to Deal Castle):
