I did the summer version and came back for the winter version. It's one of the best organised backyards and the team is fantastic! If you don't mind a hill, this is the place to go!

Really well organised and so well supported by fantastic marshalls and volunteers. The course was excellent - challenging and diverse enough to not get boring! Running through the night was an incredible experience, especially with such a lovely group of people in a really supportive environment. It’s clear how much the event means to the organisers. From the pre-event communication to the set up on the day, the way Darren and the team invested in, and cared about, each runner’s individual experience as well as the collective experience was always evident. I’ve never felt so well cared for at an event, nor felt such genuine enthusiasm and joy from an event organiser - inspiring and infectious!

Such a special event. The organisers have created something which is simultaneously gruelling but inclusive. I was inspired by every one of the competitors. Organisation was perfect: from the best emails I've ever had going into an event to the crew areas, food and drink, and marshalling.

Darren, I know you want to keep it small, but I want more people to experience it!
Love the whole ambiance, the "run with joy' instruction- I kept putting a smile on my face when I was out there, following your advice. Thanks for the reminder. Lights strung around the 2nd turn gazebo were such a welcome sight and entering the farmyard each hour was like coming home. It was all wonderful.

Great course, expertly organised, friendly atmosphere, inspirational. Yes, it’s all these things, yet it’s so much more. Truly exceeds the sum of its parts. Whether you do one, 10, 20, or more ‘yards’, you’ll be treated like an old friend returning from an epic adventure. Darren and team have created something special.

Amazing event - the organisation is incredible, the attention to the little details is fantastic. The immense passion and commitment from the race director Darren is huge and backed up by the brilliant team of helpers etc. Big shout out especially to Samantha for her help throughout the event. I would definitely recommend. First class event.

Not an event I will forget in a hurry. Awesome event, shame I wasn't good enough to keep going until the sun came up - would have been nice to see the scenery. Anyone who does this in the future - spend a large sum of cash on the best head torch you can - it is pitch black when there is cloud cover.

Team of organisers & Marshalls are superb. Super encouraging.
Dayglow/reflective signs worked incredibly well.
