amazing
Loved it. Great run,, as others said.. views are out of this world. All the team are so so lovely.. and so enthusiastic to encourage.. Atmosphere of everyone so warm
Great trails
First trail for me and I enjoyed it great route with some cool scenery. Well placed water stations during the race as it was roasting hot!
It’s what trail running should be … just needed 1 or 2 extra signs in certain areas-then 100% perfect
Great Scenary
Race HQ located in lovely surroundings and although it was a very hot day the water stops were located at just the right locations. A well organised race with very friendly Marshalls, I would definitely recommend this race.
An awesome summer 10 miler
It’s great to have a summer 10 miler in Canterbury. The start is in the beautiful grounds of St Edmunds which boast fantastic vistas over Canterbury.
The route is pleasant, and easy to navigate, except for a few key points. Additional signage at eye level would be advantageous.
The only way to see the countryside is to get out into it. This race has found beautiful parts of the city you never knew existed.
An amazing event and fantastic people barry Hopkins emily Emma john toni really lovely people who go out of their way to help everyone out great people
The event was fantastic just a few snags by putting a few more red tape down in a few areas otherwise an amazing race recommended
Challenging but beautiful route
Thank you Runnergise for a great event. Really friendly staff and volunteers, beautiful and challenging course and trophies for winners!!!!
A unique event for a usual road runner. Enjoyed the terrain and scenery of fields, woodland and streams.
Lovely variety of scenery and terrain, generally well signposted
Got lost near the end with another runner, must have missed a way marker, or perhaps there should have been a marshall in this spot.
Lovely medal and T shirt.
Lovely off road run
Lovely event through the beautiful Kent scenery. Highly recommend for those who live trail running.
Sign posting needs some improvement, especially on the approach to and around the field where a loop occurs on the return leg. A number of runners where confused in this area.
Fabulous!
Marvellous event will definitely do again & beautifully organised as always so thank you to all.
This is why I run -for days like this !!!
Great event,as always by the team…maybe a few more signs or marshals at junctions
Great trail run with beautiful scenery
This was our first trail run, lovely varied route winding over streams and through fields and woodland. Organisers started us off at 10.10am but didn’t take the 10 min late start into account when discussing the cut off for the 20miler (didn’t effect us but might have others?). GPS was hit and miss and we did go wrong once but all that was needed was a bigger sign at the point you go left into the woods as you assume you continue down the field. Very friendly marshalls, nice to have the sweets, T-shirts, pens etc. Lovely event thank you to all involved.
Very good
The tracker did not work but otherwise all very good
We did go off route at one point but it added to the fun.
Really enjoyed the trail run. Thanks
Great fun and different to the regular runs
Really enjoyed it (despite going wrong twice and coming last!) - getting lost/figuring out where to go was definitely part of the fun for me. Some of the turn offs were quite discreet, but then that's what the GPS tracker is for - which sadly weren't as reliable as probably needed. Would definitely do it again and hopefully meet the cut off time! Thanks again Sporting Events
Not having GPS
Great run with friends, great scenery saw more of it than planned due to having no GPS 5.5 miles turned into 10k
Great route - helps that weather was good too !!!..
need either more clear signage - or more marshals - need reliable GPS - mine didn't work -
But a great event / location - will certainly do next year ...good stuff Barry!!!
Overall great event, just some navigation niggles to resolve for next time.
Great event, good organisation overall. Really liked the route was a good mix of different terrain. Signage and navigation was the only let down, in signing up for the event I didn't realise the intent was for me to use my phone to nav. Not something I do normally I don't like having to hold my phone look at a screen and run. In practice the event app failed to track me so I gave up on it and used my Garmin watch which got me round. There was a left turn 6k or so in that a number of people (including me) missed. A few more obvious signs would have helped. But, all that said had a great day and nothing that the organisers can't improve upon for next time, thanks!
