Wet windy muddy but fab 10 mile run.
Came in at 433...in 1.58 but sadly no mince pies left!!!!
First time running this. I’ll be back!
Absolutely brilliant well organised run. Weather was atrocious but that didn’t stop the supporters coming out or the Marshalls being really funny, happy and smiling. Thank you! X
Great race
Very well marshalled indeed.
Quite a tough course in the pouring rain and howling wind - great fun!!
Challenging but fun!
Brilliantly conceived and supported route through glorious Downland and urban streets. It can be challenging (hence I said "friendly to beginners" only maybe.
The marshalls are just incredible - especially on a day like 10th of December when weather added its own challenge to proceedings.
Lovely Marshalls!
For me I didn’t like running through the estate. I was hoping for a proper trail run. But the atmosphere was nice and friendly.
It was my first time taking part in the Mince Pie 10. I'd heard about "the hill' at 6 miles bur it didn't stop me enjoying this race. It was challenging from.stsrt to finish but so much fun.
I was so disappointed not to have a mince pie at the finish as they'd all gone. Please consider putting them in the goody bag so every runner gets one, as its always the slower runners who miss out. Other than that, I can't fault the race or the organisation. And the .arshalls were absolutely fantastic at encouraging us and singing carols. They're a credit to your club.
Brilliant
Wonderful marshals
Amazing event with amazing marshals!!
Big thanks to the organisers and the wonderful marshals who stood out in apocalyptic conditions and made this event a must in my running calendar!
Wet and muddy
Fantastic marshals, so many of them, always where needed and so cheerful despite the weather.
Lovely 30th anniversary medal.
Great to have a sports hall as a social shelter at the end.
Mince pies ran out which disappointed a friend. She still got a goodie bag.
Well done Seaford Striders.
.
Great race, no mince pies for back of packers
Loved it, was very disappointed mince pie ran out especially as this is the one job you have.
Happy 30th birthday
Along with two Peacehaven Coasters Running Club colleagues, we started this event that when, due to relocation, the club folded and Seaford Striders took over. What a wonderful event. Special thanks to the supportive marshals. Roll on Mince Pie 2024. ps great too see the legend that is Martin Bulger.
Great organisation and festive atmosphere
Another one in drier months too!
Outstanding marshals beautiful scenery
Made the dullest day shine with festive magic!
Thank you Seaford Striders for an excellent event today. As always the Mince Pie 10 was extremely well organised and the marshalls were AMAZING. I don't know where you find so many helpful and enthusiastic people who are happy to stand in the mud, wind and rain to direct, encourage and in some cases sing us around! Thanks again, see you next year
Splashtastic!
This race had everything from atmosphere, hills and the best puddles to splash in ever! Loved it
Another great serving of Mince Pie!
Somehow the marshal's jollity kept everyone smiling despite the weather.
5 stars all round brilliant event
