The Marshalls are the best in the game.
I would have liked to have known that is I had my bib already I need not be there at 09:00. However I would have liked a earlier start time then 11:00 so it gave more time to chit chat and swop stories afterwards.

Love this event, great organization, challenging run … but the volunteers are awesome whatever the weather.
Fun festive race with amazing volunteers
The weather was pretty bleak (not unexpected on Dec) and very wet. You would t have known as the volunteers were out in force and so encouraging and friendly. Relaxed atmosphere and varied course with mince pie, medal and a goody bag at the finish. Really enjoyed it and will be back.
Tough on a horrid day, great organisation.
Course is slightly short
the weather was awful but the marshalls were amazing! brilliant organisation, from parking to showers! can't fault it (except the weather!

Trail run over South Downs - just a beaut!
Mince pie 10 - my first one, and so pleased to be taking part in the 30th anniversary race. The weather was wet, and mud soup on the menu! But, I kept imagining how lovely this trail might be during the autumn, spring and summer. Even in winter on a sunny, cold day! I would run this again. The Marshalls were brilliant and I felt very much cared for. Only downer was no mince pies! They had run out…nevermind got a goodie bag of fruit, granola bar and crisps with a cup of water. Fab anniversary medal to treasure!
The best race so far for me and would definitely do it again. Was disappointed as didn't get a mince pie in the end.
