Event Overview:
This event takes place on Sunday 21st September 2025. Known to be one of the best closed-road run routes in the South-East, this racing gem returns to raise funds for Hospice in the Weald. Join a wonderful community of runners of all abilities, raising money for a fantastic cause. The event village will be located in the Lower Common Cricket Ground where we will have a variety of food vendors, music from DJ Lee, and lots of fun activities including a bouncy castle to keep the kids busy!
Course Details:
The classic 5k and 10k courses will take you on a familiar scenic route past popular local landmarks such as the Spa Valley Railway Line and The High Rocks.
You can view the route maps by clicking on the links below.
Our Family Fun Run theme is Hospice Heroes! The route takes families on an adventure through the common and around Wellington Rocks and children are encouraged to dress up as their favourite hero as they dodge the water and run, walk or skip their way to the finish. Participants have the option of completing 1 or 2 loops of the route before receiving their finishers medal. Adults accompanying their children do not need to pay for entry.
About Hospice in the Weald:
Hospice in the Weald provides care completely free of charge to patients with a terminal illness, and those important to them, in West Kent and northern East Sussex. This means we are there 24 hours a day to help, support and care for patients with an illness where a cure is no longer possible, and for patients who will at some stage die from their illness, whenever that may be (you may hear this referred to as “palliative care”)
People are often confused by what a Hospice actually does. We’re there 24/7 for anyone who needs us, caring for our patients, as well as those important to them, providing physical, medical and emotional support through our services. Anyone can also access our Help Hub, full of information, advice and guidance, including direct contact with our team.
It’s not just at the end of life that Hospice in the Weald can help. We want to ensure that anyone affected by a terminal illness; not just patients, but also those important to them, can access the support they need when they need it. Whether this means a family member or friend, our Services will provide support to anyone important to a patient. We provide care which is completely tailored to each person as an individual, to help our patients make decisions that are right for them and their loved ones.

Runners that raise over a certain amount will be eligible for an exclusive Hospice Run gift!
