West Bay is the gateway to the Jurassic coast set amongst the beautiful Dorset countryside.
It offers extensive play areas to keep adventurous families entertained for hours, and for runners and cyclists, acres of wide-open spaces and paths.
With what we hope will be flat sea's, a scenic undulating bike course and testing runs this event is ideal for an open water Olympic, Sprint and Super-sprint triathlon.
(Undulating bike and run courses are route specific, i.e., super sprint bike route is relatively flat)
This event is great for those new to triathlon, it is a very relaxed and welcoming event, if your new to triathlon we suggest the sprint however any route is open to you, just remember the Olympic is a tougher event.
Not just an event West Bay is an excellent place to visit for the weekend, with so much happening locally (see Below) there is plenty of camping around the area and other types of accommodation is plentiful, Westpoint apartments overlooks transition and has its own excellent onsite West beach café.
