Event Overview:
The route is scenic and showcases the pretty Kent village of Sevenoaks Weald, with the start and finish being in the centre of the village utilising the Village Green.  The Weald St George 10K has a real village feel and has long proved popular, usually attracting around 400 entries. Runners of all standards are welcome, including those new to running. There will be food and activities available for the whole family on the green.

Course Details:
The race uses a varied course, mostly on road, but with around 2km of hard surfaced woodland trail.  At whatever pace you choose to complete, this course will give you a great workout. There is plenty of variety, including long straights, sharp turns, on road and off road, a water point at 5k and...the hill at 9.5k!   The hill has become a real feature of the event.  It is short and steep, and with just 500m to go to the finish, as long as you have kept some energy in reserve, you can power up it, and almost coast to the finish from the top.
