The Welsh 3 Peaks Challenge

31/05/2025

The Welsh 3 Peaks is a Walking Challenge that involves a total distance of just over 17 Miles, between the 3 Mountains involved. Our Challenge includes Mountain Leaders to guide you on the hill, transport from Cardiff train station, throughout the Challenge and a drop off at Chester station after completion, via minibus....and food and drink throughout!

Certificates of completion and a bespoke wooden finishers memento will be rewards for your efforts, along with memories of a great day out with like minded people!

What is not included, is accommodation prior to pick up or after drop off, or any diversions to pick up or drop off individuals anywhere other than the transport hubs stated above.

We start with an ascent of Pen y Fan in the South, Cadair Idris in mid-Wales and finish with Wales's highest point, Snowdon. All routes used are walking routes, so you do not need to be experienced in any scrambling or at any grade of rock climbing, or associated equipment, however, you will need some mountain walking experience to take part, and be comfortable in that environment. This is not a running challenge, but you must be a strong walker to take part.
