We are delighted to be working with Muscular Dystrophy UK to bring you our Sublime Lucky Dip Virtual Race Weekend on the 10th and 11th of April 2021 Muscular Dystrophy UKMuscular Dystrophy UK is an amazing charity bringing individuals, families and professionals together to fight muscle-wasting conditions. Founded in 1959, they have been leading the fight against muscle-wasting conditions since then. They bring together more than 60 rare and very rare progressive muscle-weakening and wasting conditions, affecting around 70,000 children and adults in the UK. They support high quality research to find effective treatments and cures and won’t stop until they have found them for all muscle-wasting conditions Our Lockdown Lucky DipWe are upcycling our stocks of medals and technical T shirts from previous Sublime Races. Reducing waste to help the environment and raising funds! THE RACES & YOUR REWARDSRun a virtual 5k or 10k race on the 10th or 11th of April 2021 and as a reward for completing the event you will recieve A medal from a past Sublime Race A technical T shirt from a past Sublime Race (in your specified size). Best of all you will be running for this amazing charity There will be a live leaderboard over the weekend to bring you all the race excitement
WHAT YOU NEED TO DOComplete either 10km or 5k as a continuous race, on the route of your choice at a pace of your choice. Your route must start and finish at the same place. Enter via the website by 9th April 2021 at 2359hrs. Run between 6am and 9pm on Saturday 10th April 2021 or Sunday 11th of April 2021 - your registration fee covers your participation in the event. As a reward for completing the event you will be sent a medal and technical tshirt (in your specified size) from a past Sublime Race within 14 days Upload your results between 0630hrs on the 10th April 2021 and 2130hrs on the 11th April 2021 via your profile. The results window will only be open from 0630hrs on the 10th of April, you cannot upload results until then. A photo of your time on a smart watch or fitness device can also be uploaded. This is optional for most but required for the podium finishers and category winners. Athletes should avoid busy routes or parks. Please be considerate to others by keeping at least 2m apart when passing on your route. Runs can be completed solo, or within a small group pertaining to current government guidelines. Entries are non-refundable and non-transferable. All validated entries will appear within the Sublime results page Runs must be completed outdoors (treadmills runs are unfortunately not accepted). |
