Excellent event
Such a well organised event, Sittingbourne Striders were fantastic, massive credit to the club. The route is hilly but also very pretty. Lovely facilities, easy parking, good refreshments, excellent job!
Lovely course with a warm welcoming feel
Lovely local event, super friendly, good mix of abilities and some lovely hills!!!!
Challenging but enjoyable 10 mile
Extremely well run from beginning to end. Talking of ending the two hills in the last mile was an unexpected challenge and made the event even more memorable.
The whole event was very well run with friendly and encouraging marshals.
It was good to have an event with a selection of refreshments along the route and at the finish line.
Will be looking forward to next years event
Well organised event
Impressed with number of marshals and how enthusiastic they were. Not entirely sure why there was a split start, though.
Very well organised from parking, bag drop, start, marshalling, road closures to finish line. It's a great event, a proper test.
Picky notes to make it even better. The start was a lot better than last year, but you still don't need to hold back the waves. Put people in waves, and then start them off together, Wave 2 is not catching Wave 1.
Spoke to a few Striders about enticing more clubs along. To do this it would really help if Running Club names were included in the results and filterable. Great event, it's a real credit to the club.
Great route and encouragement from everyone involved.
Outstanding marshalling and organisation
It was a tough course, but will definitely be back next year. Excellent organisation, good parking, great venue. Outstanding marshals.
Professional and friendly organisation. Hilly run!
Great fun, friendly atmosphere
Apart from the awful hills (undulating does not cut it!) this was a fantastic race, great to start from somewhere with good toilets! Well done Striders, will be there next year, still having nightmares about Stockers Hill
Very well organised
Friendly atmosphere, challenging course. Marshalls were brilliant
Absolutely brilliant and one of the best organised events I have ever taken part in!!
Sittingbourne Striders were absolutely brilliant. So much support on the route, so super encouraging and friendly before, during and after. Honestly couldn’t recommend this event enough!! Thank you x
A tough 10miler with amazing marshalling. Well worth the triumphant of finishing it. Stunning location.
Sittingbourne Striders were amazing too.
Best event locally by some margin.
An all round well organised event, friendly like minded Marshalls and a great atmosphere. Room for improvement if I was being ultra picky:
1) Return of t-shirts, even if it was for an optional premium.
2) The photo ID for number collection seemed OTT for a local event.
Well organised, enjoyable and challenging run
Well organised by a fun and friendly team.
Lots of marshalls all the way along the route to help direct you and also keep you motivated.
It is an undulating course, especially the steep decent and the start and the steep hill back up at the end.
Very enjoyable day
One of the best 10 milers around.
This was my first outing on the new Sittingbourne 10 course.
Possibly the best race HQ I have seen in Kent. Well organised with plenty of hard surface parking, good toilets and even a posh canteen.
The race was accurately measured, largely on traffic free country lanes, very well marshalled and marked with plenty of enthusiastic support.
Although lumpy, the route is suitable for beginners and more experienced runners alike, but I don’t think it could be described as a potential pb course.
Well done to Sportingevents and Sittingbourne Striders, I recommend that everyone puts this event on your fixture list for 2025.
Fab event, well-organised, plenty of goodies at the finish, brilliant marshals. Hilly!
Cracking race course with superb race HQ facilities thrown in with lots of friendly Marshalls supporting all the runners needs
Thank you Sittingbourne Striders
One of my favourite local runs
Brilliantly organised, friendly Marshalls, loads of hills.
From the email information to the marshalling on the day this was probably the best organised event I have taken part in. My inability to cope with the hills was entirely my fault (lack of training due to recovering from a cold).
Would recommend this to others (and have) but would caution beginners about the elevation gains.
Goodie bag at the end, along with the food and drink at the end - definitely one for the calendar next year.
