Mandatory kit

Mandatory Kit List regardless of the weather, this is for all competitors, this is the minimum we will expect you to have. 

1. Waterproof jacket - not a log flume poncho or super market fashion jacket, it has to have a waterproof membrane with taped seams.
2. Waterproof trousers - these do not abbe to be the latest £200 super lightweight running pants, a simple £5.99 pair from amazon will do the job. We do not expect you to run in them but to have them with you at all times. 
(required for all events between September 1st  and April 20th, the rest of the year these are just advisory not compulsory)
3. Foil blanket

5. Winter races, any event from September 1st to April 20th you will also be required to have a back light of some description, a glow stick or suitable hi-viz top or similar is ok, think, can other road users see you!

We will be doing spot checks on the day, anyone who does not have this minimum kit or in OUR opinion is not prepared for the weather / event will NOT be starting. 
Foil blankets can be purchased on the day £2.50 each .
Be sensible, we will slacken off on some items if the weather is in our favour and this is our decision not yours, so make sure you have it all on the day.

How can I check race results?

If, you finish and finish before the cut offs, your race results will be available live at the finish line and published within two hours of race ending, on our website under the 'Results'. 
On the day results will be available from the race results centre - Somewhere in the event centre. 

It is your responsibility to visit the website if you want them in a hurry!

Can under 18-year olds enter your events

We are sorry but due to Child Protection and Insurance restrictions, we do not currently allow any under 18-year olds to enter our events. 

But keep in touch or drop us an email as this might be changing.

Do I need to bring any forms with me

Yes, you can download and complete the form now, it's on one of the menu links below in the website footer, we have blank copies available at registration.

Refunds

NO, there will be NO refunds. 

From the moment you enter we start to incure costs.

If you wish to have another competitor take your place a £10.00 admin charge will be made and this can not be done less than 14 days before event day.

Getting There:

RENEGADE is easily accessible by car, train, and bus. There is ample parking for drivers, while local rail and bus routes serve the event site, ensuring an stress-free arrival.

Leaving the Event:Escape is just the beginning. After the thrill of the chase, how far will you have run? How will you get back? Plan your return journey—or risk being stranded like a true renegade.

Pro Tips:

Stay Flexible: Consider travel options that allow flexibility—you never know how far the game will take you. Carpool with teammates or have a trusted contact ready to assist post-event.

Use Public Transport Smartly: If arriving by public transport, check the latest schedules and plan for delays. Have a backup travel option in case your escape route takes you far from your expected endpoint.

Ride Shares & Taxis: Keep local ride-share apps and taxi services saved on your phone for a quick extraction if needed.

Event Shuttles: Check if the event offers shuttle services to key transport hubs after the game.

Final Thought: Every second counts during RENEGADE. Plan ahead, stay sharp, and adapt quickly—escape is only half the battle!

GPS Trackers?

How Does GPS Tracking Work?
YOU MUST CARRY THE GPS TRACKER ON YOUR PERSON AT ALL TIMES. 


At registration, you’ll be issued a GPS tracker along with a return envelope. After your game, simply package the tracker securely and drop it in any post box to return it to us.

Why Use GPS Tracking?
Our live GPS tracking system isn’t just for convenience—it’s how you’ll be hunted. Activate tracking to share your progress with friends and family—or let your pursuers close in. A password for secure access will be emailed a few days before the event.

How Can I Share My Location?

Send the Link: Share the event website link with friends or family.

Provide Login Details: Use the secure login information we’ll email you.

Track Progress: Viewers can follow your journey using your bib or tracker number.

Can Viewers See Other Participants?  
Yes! Custom Map Views let viewers track multiple participants or just you. Watching someone take a wrong turn can be highly entertaining—and intensifies the chase!

Failure to return a tracker will incur a £175.00 fee.

Cut-Off Time?

Accepted Answer

The cut-off time is 5 hours from the start at 09:00.

 After that time, if you've successfully evaded capture, congratulations, it's a win for you! If not, the hunter wins.

Can I use other means of transport during the event?

Accepted Answer

No, the rules are simple: all participants, Renegades and Hunters, must only use their own two feet!
