Lovely event on my doorstep!
Great route, great marshalls, great medal, great atmosphere! Yes there is a 20mins to/from Clement's Hall but it's straightforward & personally I don't mind it at all. I've run this event a number of times, including when it was put on by Rayleigh Rotary Club, so have experienced different routes, starts, parking & organisers. The RTC team have tweaked the event each year to try & make it an enjoyable experience for all.....including the neighbours. Well done everyone involved.
Another fantastic event. Love the challenging course and mix of flats/uphills and downs. Marshals were fantastic, very encouraging. No problem with walk to start, which was well flagged before.
A great Summer Cross Country course
Great course and plenty of friendly marshals
Excellent and challenging course
As a first timer surprised in distance to start. Clarity on time to walk from Clements Hall needed to ensure prompt start
Friendly atmosphere
All good, apart from the long walk from the parking area to the start and back, weather was good so not as bad as it could have been. All the staff and marshals very good friendly and encouraging many thanks for urging me on
Tough but brilliant course
Really well organised, fantastic Marshalls, lovely medal.
The route was tough, I could see the ambulance flags from about a km away and thought “that’s the end” however I quickly realised that there was a bit more left! Challenging terrain, lots of hills, but such a good route. Will definitely do it again next year!
Amazing event!
Enjoyed the whole thing. Huge support from the marshals. Well organised and a beautiful location.
Amazing 10k event well organised thanks guys enjoyed it
Great race but start line else where much closer to parking please!
Loved the course and marshals super helpful. Just would have been nice not to walk a couple of miles to the start line. Could this have a start at grove woods or Hockley woods but follow the same ish course? Walking all that way back to Clements hall after a hard 10k was painful…
Great morning run
More carols be nice. I’m 55 so against ladies who are 20 years younger - only suggestion and would prefer not so much uphill to finish line
Great trail run, very well organised. Thanks to the marshals!
More portaloos please
A great Sunday morning
First time running this event but not the last time. Will return next your for a pb. Thank you for organising.
6.2miles of scenic countryside, trails, woods and pathways, of which some were quite challenging, but very rewarding once completed
Maybe you could consider some sort of feeder car service from registration to the start as optional and subject to time or allow a few carloads to go up Gusted/back to CH to collect those who opted for this- could ask for a donation to charity?
There was one bit near the start which was single file - not an issue but might be worth saying up front in the comms.
The change to the placing of the bag drop was not an issue at all.
Great marshals and volunteers. The results were out super fast - great if we could search by club too.
Thank you for today’s event
Great course and brilliantly organised.
Lovely off road race
No
Hilly and hot!
Excellent
Was mine first time doing Rayleigh 10km was a hard run was a very friendly atmosphere and will b back next year and thanks you to all the people who volunteered to make the race happen 5 ⭐️
Beautiful setting, good signposting and good amount of marshalls plus a friendly atmosphere
It’s a challenging course but helped greatly by the lovely surroundings and encouraging marshalls along the route.
Lovely!
Really enjoyed it
Really well mashalled and sign posted, yes it's a bit of a walk to the start and then back to the car but I loved it.
