Very well organised using a very pretty course
Challenging but a beautiful course. Medal was fantastic and the t shirt.
Thank you for a lovely morning.
Good
Hilly course, but for a great cause. Real mix of skillsets, but was made challenging by the heat on the day.
The run is the best thing I ever did
I had sm fun the money foes to a great place too they even offered money and medals and healthcare
A fantastic family event.
A great event for all the family. Very well organised, friendly marshals and good support
Great cause to run for
A couple of parts were not marshalled and signs not very visible of way to go so was a bit confusing
It should def be advertised as a very hilly hard 10k ..i run eveyday and this was a tough Trail course so not a beginners route
Marshalls were Amazing and encouraging
Lovely off-road run on a warm Spring morning.
Great setting and a very enjoyable, challenging route entirely off-road and traffic free. Excellent marshalling, especially considering the route was quite convoluted and shared with other park users. Plenty of free parking and a quality race tee-shirt. The 5K option would be better for beginners as the course is quite tough. In summary, a great race over a lovely course and all in a very worthy cause. I'll be looking out for it next year.
Lovely course, great atmosphere, excellent cause!
Definitely worth getting a snack wagon or ice cream van or something up there for after the run!
Fun event with lovely atmosphere!
Well organised effort
Conditions were very warm, not helped by the late start to the race. Nevertheless, I thoroughly enjoyed the day.
Beautiful scenery but a challenging course. Very enjoyable and for a great cause.
Some marshals to help coordinate parking may have been helpful and lots of cars struggling up and down to the main car park to find it full.
Scenic running route & friendly atmosphere.
Fantastic event for a brilliant cause
Had a brilliant time, absolutely knackered. Definitely do it again.
Amazing but more for advanced runners with the terrain
We had an awful lot of other family members but the terrain prevented them due to not being runners. Some of us were meant to do 10k but could only manage 5k due to the arduous terrain. At other events we have been to there has been a group warm up before the run.
Overall very good
There wasn’t any group warmups to start with so went straight into running
The course was not flat and had a few places which were hard to pass - very muddy or steep hills.
There was no music/ radio station to entertain the crowd of spectators.
The team there were brilliant and very friendly
Fantastic
It was great to see our colleagues, parents, trustees and their families participating in races and volunteering. Great atmosphere and fantastic organisation by Hannah Grout, Thank you.
Let down by a late start
Generally a good race. There might have been more marshals, the number pick up was a little disorganised but the late start was very disappointing. 10am is already a late start when it might get hotter later but it was delayed by 22 minutes standing around in the sun.
Well organised..tough run
Tough trail race on a warm day
The course was well designed albeit with a few pinch points through narrow gaps in fences to deter bikers. There were ample marshals offering encouragement and signs where needed. It was very warm so grateful for a reasonable amount of shade which also introduced some great muddy sections for variety. The 5km option is a good idea for such a tough course where the charity element may attract non-runners and walkers. The marshals kindly warned me that I was about to lap 5km runners so that I would plot a route around them. On the negative side, all the races started late for reasons that were not really explained or communicated leaving us standing in the sun for longer than was sensible.
Nice course thanks
more water stations on the 10k run.
No results on the website for the 10k only the 5k.
could have done with a tee shirt before run.
