About our charity partner, Oasis Domestic Abuse Services:
Your entry will help to raise valuable funds for our 2025 partner charity, Oasis Domestic Abuse Services.
Home should be a safe place for everyone. Sadly, for thousands across Kent and Medway, it isn't. Each year Oasis helps over 1,500 adults and 350 children who have been affected by domestic abuse. They aim to end violence and abuse & spread the message that Love Shouldn't Hurt. At Oasis they provide:
- advice and support from the start through their Helpline;
- a safe place to stay for families fleeing abuse;
- support through the courts;
- mentoring and therapy for those who have suffered trauma;
- help in building a safe new life
Oasis work to ensure that family life is free from abuse. They provide accommodation for those fleeing from anywhere in the country, and further afield. Children make up 70% of those in their refuges and are often the invisible victims of domestic abuse. Your support and donations can ensure that Oasis are able to provide safe, positive futures, free from harm for everyone that needs it.
