The inaugural Moor to Sea Sportive took place in 2012. After a gap of a few years it's back & we've moved it to a May date to (almost) guarantee better weather.

There's a choice of three routes. The Inspire (short) route is 34 miles (57 km) with approximately 2,300 ft (700 m) of ascent. The Challenge (medium) distance route covers  64 miles (103 km) with approximately 5,700 ft (1,700 m) of ascent. Or the Extreme (long) route which covers 110 miles (178 km) with almost 10,000 ft (3,000 m) of ascent including gradients up to 20%. See the maps further down this page.

Exeter Racecourse is located just off the A38 (Exeter to Plymouth), five miles from the end of the M5 southbound.

Although clearly signposted from all directions, please note that access is via a sharp turn situated shortly after the brow of Haldon Hill.
