The marvellous Maidenhead Half Marathon offers an amazing big half experience - but with the beauty of riverside, village and town centre running - all on flat, fast roads in glorious late summer weather.

Event merchandise is available for purchase during registration for collection at (or delivery prior to) the event, further details on which will be confirmed prior to the event.
The road closure schedule will be posted approximately 6 weeks prior to the event.
All of our events are organised following government and governing body COVID-19 guidance. We will continue to ensure that we deliver safe and enjoyable events.
Late entries are expected to be available at Nicholsons Shopping Centre between 11:00 - 15:00 on Saturday 3rdSeptember (subject to availability and a £5 surcharge).

Event Details
Licensing
This event is expected to be licensed with UK Athletics (UKA) and the results published by Run Britain shortly after the event.
Bib Numbers
Bib numbers are expected to be mailed to all participants who have registered with a valid UK address by midnight on the Sunday prior to the event. When a bib cannot be mailed due to an incomplete/invalid address - and in cases where it does not arrive - participants can collect a new/replacement bib at the event. Participants need not contact us with respect to non-receipt of their bib but should be prepared to show their booking confirmation on arrival if requested.
Runners that have participated in every race since the inaugural event in 2011 (excluding the cancelled/relocated 2020/21 events) and wish to keep their original race number will be able to request it during the registration process. All submissions will be validated prior to the event.
Results
Results will be uploaded live to our website (internet connection permitting) and communicated to all pre-registered participants within 24 hours of the event.
Rewards
All finishers will receive a medal on completing their event and, subject to a competitive field of participants, prizes may be available for the top three places overall - and the top place in each of the veteran categories (V40/V50/V60/V70) - for both females and males. Winners will be notified via email by the end of the following week where a presentation is not possible on the day, and once results are considered final.
Pacers
Subject to availability, pacers will be offered in this event with target times between 1h30 and 2h30.
Facilities
Medical Cover
Suitable medical cover is provided at our events in case of a medical emergency.
Bag Drop
Whilst we recommend bringing as little as possible, participants can leave essential belongings with us using the tear-off baggage strip on their bib.
Photography
Event images are expected to be available, usually within 24 hours of the event.
Water Stations
Water will be available on the route around miles 3, 6, 9 & 11.
Toilets
Toilets will be available in the event village for use throughout the event. Toilets will not be available on the route.
Changing Rooms/Showers
There are no dedicated changing rooms/showers.
Other Information
Wheelchairs
This event is suitable for wheelchair users. Any participants wishing to compete with specialised equipment are asked to contact us before entering to ensure we can accommodate any additional requirements.
Buggies, Pushchairs and Strollers
As a UK Athletics licensed event, the pushing of persons in any device in this event is prohibited under the UKA Rules of Competition - including, but not limited to - buggies, pushchairs, strollers (or similar) and wheelchairs.
Spectators
Spectators are permitted at this event.
Earphones/Headphones
Noise-cancelling earphones/headphones are prohibited and, whilst we discourage the use of other earphones/headphones in running events, participants choosing to use them should ensure they are set to a low enough volume that instructions from event officials can be clearly understood.
Dogs
Participants must not be accompanied by a personally owned or controlled dog during an event. Entries may be accepted from participants with medical assistance dogs, subject to them being correctly registered and identifiable as such, and subject to prior approval by the Event Director.
