Get out and feel great with a 5K run, walk, or jog in the heart of Walthamstow! Bring the whole family to take on the 1K Family Fun Run - suitable for the littlest legs, buggies, or four-legged friends!

 

Walthamstow Town Square and our famous High Street is hosting a community celebration - a great reason to get your trainers on and enjoy being outdoors in the heart of our wonderful community. Make plans with your family, friends, and colleagues for a Bank Holiday Monday to remember.

 

Whether you aim to complete your first 5K or 1K Fun Run, everyone receives a Let’s Go Walthamstow champions’ medal. Hangout after your big finish to revel in the atmosphere, enjoy food and drink from local vendors on the Town Square, and take advantage of sales and special offers in The Mall and along the High Street.

 

All runners get 10% off Walthamstow Sunday Social outdoor food market for all participants. Just show your signup confirmation email to the food vendor upon ordering!

Licensing

This event will not be licensed.

 

Bib Numbers

Bib numbers are available for collection at the event only, participants should not expect to receive anything by mail.

 

Results

Results will be uploaded live to our website (internet connection permitting) and communicated to all pre-registered participants within 24 hours of the event.

 

Rewards

All finishers will receive a medal on completing their event.

Medical Cover

Suitable medical cover is provided at our events in case of a medical emergency. 

 

Bag Drop

Whilst we recommend bringing as little as possible, participants can leave essential belongings with us using the tear-off baggage strip on their bib.

 

Photography

Event images will be available, usually within 24 hours of the event.

 

Water Stations

Water will be available on the 5K route at the lap point.

 

Toilets

Public toilets will be available in the Mall Shopping Centre for use throughout the event.

 

Changing Rooms/Showers 

There are no dedicated changing rooms/showers.

This event is suitable for wheelchair users. Any participants wishing to compete with specialised equipment are asked to contact us before entering to ensure we can accommodate any additional requirements.

Spectators

Spectators are permitted at this event.

 

Earphones/Headphones 

Noise-cancelling earphones/headphones are prohibited and, whilst we discourage the use of other earphones/headphones in running events, participants choosing to use them should ensure they are set to a low enough volume that instructions from event officials can be clearly understood.
