Next Race: 26/10/2025
Perch on Lancing Seafront, 28 Brighton Road, Lancing BN15 8RA
Great warm atmosphere
Marshall’s were fantastic and encouraging. Very busy near the pier, dodging around people and prams. Great start time 11am, not a mad rush in the morning.
Good grass route event
Good cheap event well organised chilled vibes no hype
Really good small 10K.
Great value for money
Volunteers Marshalls etc very accommodating
Friendly and welcoming
Course narrow in places
Route shared with public and cyclists- An earlier start would reduce congestion
Chip timing would be an enhancement as would race medal rather than a generic yearly one
Maybe a route that does not suit serious runners
Cannot praise the volunteers enough!
Great run with great scenery
Water at the finish would have been appreciated
Average event and cheap
Needed a secure bag drop , also someone on a speaker for the start !
Very friendly but course/ chip timing lacking.
This is a great run from Lancing to Worthing, with the seafront right next to you. Unfortunately, you are sharing the route with a lot of other walkers and cyclists on a very narrow path. This makes overtaking very difficult for the first 800+m. It was disappointing that there’s no chip timing- unless you were right at the front, this could easily add another 20-30 seconds. But the atmosphere was good and the marshals all very helpful and friendly. It’s a cheap run so value for money. I’m sure people would pay a little extra for the chip timing.
Everything about event is good apart from the 'out and back'!!
An out and back for a paid event is poor form, not great value for money and a touch lazy in terms of event organising.
Otherwise enjoyed the morning.
A superb fast and flat route
A great run, beautiful scenic route, simple set up but all round enjoyable morning
Nice low cost event with no hassle at anypoint.
Nice and flat but very narrow in places and no crowd control or chip time
Lovely and flat, lovely view on run however the start was very narrow on the pavement and you sometimes were dodging walkers or cyclists on the same pathway. No crowd control along Worthing seafront which was a problem. When you’re running these distances you need some crowd control otherwise if you’re going for a fast time this impedes you. I’d rather pay double for more Marshalls and a chip so I know my final position and time.
Could start a bit early than eleven because it gets to busy at that time of day ten o clock could be a good time
No other notes you done well thankyou all
Course was great as a first official race, unfortunate that the course was 30m short and had to run past the spectators to complete 10k.
Easy parking, toilets etc - quite nice low-key event without stress
Definitely need to start the race earlier than 11am, especially with the clocks going back. Suggest 10am latest, otherwise just too busy.
Also km markers please
A good fun run and flat with good water supply (large bottle) local events are more friendly but shame it’s not chippped as start line and finish line a bit difficult to navigate correctly if not got a running app/watch
Good for a training 10k
Needed more people at the end giving medals out.
Really enjoyed this route, despite the pouring down rain the staff were excellent. Really good event
Beautifully scenic route with friendly, enthusiastic organisers
A well organised run with beautiful seafront views and friendly, happy organisers and volunteers.
Signing up for next year
Very wet run! Not bad but not the best
Good event and lovely staff/volunteers. I probably wouldn’t ‘run’ back to do it though; the start & finish line weren’t well marked and didn’t seem that well organised but the run itself was good despite the run!
