Lake District Fell Running and Yoga Weekend

Next Date: 23/05/2025

High Wallabarrow Farm, Ulpha, Broughton-in-Furness, Cumbria, LA20 6EA

Our Lake District Fell Running and Yoga Camp, is your chance to experience the unique flavour of fell running in the Dunnerdales, the spiritual homeland of fell running, over a long weekend, while enjoying some morning yoga, specifically aimed at runners.

Your guides will be a top local fell runner and experienced mountain runner Jacob Tonkin, the man behind the Tea Round in Keswick and subject of the inspiring film 'George' about one fell runner and his dog/s, plus qualified mountain guide Ceri Rees (multiple Dartmoor fell series winner), who has raced at all levels in the sport and knows the surrounding valleys.

Your yoga instructor will be Olivia Mulligan. Liv is a yoga teacher (and keen runner!) She will be offering morning yoga sessions to compliment our weekend of running. Whether an experienced yogi or a total newbie, the sessions will be beneficial to all, helping to build a mind and body connection. The benefits of yoga are endless, a few including: increased energy, flexibility, strength, pain relief, improved sleep and improved mood. The perfect addition to any runner's routine!

You will spend three nights at Wallabarrow Farm, in the Duddon Valley and venture off towards Coniston and Eskdale Fells on different days. Previous camps have included dinner on the second night by fell running legend and sheep farmer Joss Naylor who regaled us with some of his running stories and his reflections on fell running.
