Crazy Weather and Great Marshalling
Strong crosswind and sideways rain made my first Hove Prom 10K a tough and memorable experience. A good turnout nonetheless and I still managed a PB! All the marshals were great throughout the course keeping spirits high. Would recommend!
A fantastic 10K in rain and wind
Another excellent Hove 10K. Superb organisation in challenging conditions this year (2024). Despite the weather the Race Director and Marshals were all enthusiastic and supportive. This make such a big difference to my experience. Plus the finish area had refreshments. Already looking forward to running again in 2025.
Great work
Pure bliss by the sea
well organised, especially given the weather!
Nice route, despite being flat.
Lack of toilets.
Great Fun !
Excellent event for both beginners & experienced runners !
Whatever the weather :-)
Massive extra thanks to Lagoon Watersports who shared their facilities
Thanks to Lagoon Watersports for opening up their toilet facilities to 100s of runners
A well organised race with friendly marshals and tasty treats!
Lovely flat course.
Heroic encouraging marshals today in truly awful weather!!!
As always an excellent race despite this year’s weather.
Keep up the good work
Fast, flat course (unless Storm Ashley gets in the way!)
Thanks so much to the organizers and all the marshals for making this event work, despite the horrendous conditions today. Epic!
Excellent race , well organised with friendly and helpful marshals .
Flat course good for PB
Well organised friendly race
We’ll marshalled
Nice race, flat course
Asking other runners and looking on Strava it looks like the race was long by about 60m. Not a disaster, but annoying if you are a few seconds off beating your PB - and yes I was
Well run, organised event
Really liked the snacks provided after the event for runners
Flat PB course and this year was PB conditions
Very supportive marshals
Myself and one of my club mates were last but we were not felt to be embarrassed about being slow, Toby on the tail bike was very encouraging and supportive. Bonus was the bottle of Prosecco at the end which my team mate took as it was her first 10k!
Always a great event 10/10.
The post race snacks are amazing, borderline worth the entry fee by themselves.
