Wonderful event, so well organised and welcoming

Thank you for all organisers and volunteers for a fantastic event. I grew up in the area so it was lovely to be able to race around Eridge Park. This was only my second trail race and I enjoyed every minute! The marshals kept us all going, the water stations were nicely positioned after some challenging hills and the finish line cakes and beer went down really well. I will be back!

Superb off road well-organised race in beautiful scenery. A challenging course but well marked and marshalled. And you can't beat cake and beer afterwards!!!

Amazing trail race, brilliant organisation

Seasoned trail runner but first time participant, after being told about this race several times but never made the date clear in my calendar to attend. Should have listened to the recommendations and entered years ago!
Brilliantly organised by very friendly & helpful TWH members. From start to end, the organisation is faultless.
The route is incredible. Trail running perfection. Single track technical woodland trail, muddy downhills, tough climbs, leg-sapping spongy fields, water crossings, this race had it all.
Also brilliantly marked out and super encouraging marshals everywhere.
Really glad to not have another medal thrust in my hand at the end. Glad the entry fee is lower for that, and very happy to swap a medal for the copious amount of delicious cake at the end!
Already on the list to come back next year, can't wait!

Brilliant organisation and an outstanding run in beautiful surroundings.

This race is an absolute treat for anyone looking for an off road trail event. Race organisation by Tunbridge Wells Harriers is first class with a well marked route through unbelievably varied conditions. Hills (up and down) and mud feature a lot but so do stunning lakes, woods and views all around. Marshalls and water stations all very encouraging and the selection of cakes at the end was top notch. Some people want medals but they get put in a drawer somewhere. A quality t-shirt I can often use, suits me. Thanks for a fabulous event TWH

Fantastic route and superbly organised race.

Beautiful route that has a bit of everything: meadows, mud, woodland, mud, steep climbs and descents and a bit more mud. The huge range of cakes, and free beer at the finish were very welcome too.

Would be good to get a medal.

Great race, course is tough but offers closed trail running which is amazing. For the difficultly of the event I was a bit disappointed not to receive a medal. Charge £3/£5 more and do finisher medals......we all do this for the medals

Did a review, but forgot to mention below

Brilliant selection of cakes and the beer was a great motivator - if I had not been on the bike, I think I could have filled a doggie bag!

Brilliant event

Such a tough course today with a the mud and hills. But the event so well organised and the marshal's were superb. Also fellow runners were so friendly and supportive. Will definately return

Fantastic and challenging run across beautiful terrain

Personally I would have preferred a medal instead of a t-shirt but it is a preference thing and a small point in what was a genuinely fantastic, hard and challenging but ultimately fun race. WIll be returning next year!

A brilliant race outstandingly organised.

The atmosphere is outstanding, the race is unique. The camaraderie remarkable as is the generosity of the cake bakers. Please thank them.

Seriously challenging, beautiful and as steep as a country church steeple.

Exactly as it says on the tin. If you're new to trail running would think very carefully before doing. If you are Catholic a perfect annual penance.

One of the best 10 mile trail runs out there

I love this event. The organisers are brilliant in making this such a good event. It's also one of the toughest with lots of steep climbs, mud to wade through and water to jump over. The cakes at the end look all home made and are delicious. Could do with a few more signs outside the entrance but other than that don't change a thing.
