Join the Duxford Dash running challenge on Sunday 13 March at IWM Duxford, Cambridgeshire and reclaim the live runway at the airfield that made history. Whatever your goal, our inclusive and friendly flat-course race with chip-timing will motivate you to go the extra mile:

Then enjoy a full-day out at IWM Duxford as part of your entry ticket price, to learn why we are home to the biggest, fastest, most jaw-dropping, wow-inducing, history making runners…oops…aircraft collection… in Europe.

All spectators must register to attend, with entry also including access to IWM Duxford for the remainder of the day. Children under 5 are welcome at no charge but must still be registered separately.

Adults/chaperones need not register separately for the Family Mile if they are already participating in the 10K/5K but must wear their respective bib during the event and take a medal for their registered event only. The Family Mile will finish prior to the start of the main categories.

Licensing

This event will not be licensed.

Bib Numbers

Bib numbers are available for collection at the event only, participants should not expect to receive anything by mail.

Results

Results will be uploaded live to our website (internet connection permitting) and communicated to all pre-registered participants within 24 hours of the event.

Pacers

Pacers will not be offered at this event.

Facilities

Medical Cover

Suitable medical cover is provided at our events in case of a medical emergency.

Bag Drop

Whilst we recommend bringing as little as possible, runners can leave essential belongings with us using the tear-off baggage strip on their bib.

Water Stations

Water will be available on the 5K/10K routes at approximately 2.5K & 7.5K. We encourage runners to bring their own cup/bottle.

Toilets

Toilets will be available in the event village for use throughout the event but will not be available for use by runners on the route.

Changing Rooms/Showers

There are no dedicated changing rooms/showers.

Other Information

Wheelchairs

This event is suitable for wheelchair users. Any participants wishing to compete with specialised equipment are asked to contact us before entering to ensure we can accommodate any additional requirements.

Buggies, Pushchairs and Strollers

This event is suitable for buggies, pushchairs, strollers (or similar).

Earphones/Headphones

In the interest of participant safety, the use of earphones/headphones is prohibited throughout this event.

Dogs

Participants must not be accompanied by a personally owned or controlled dog during an event. Entries may be accepted from participants with medical assistance dogs, subject to them being correctly registered and identifiable as such, and subject to prior approval by the Event Director.

Filming and Photography

We may authorise third parties to carry out filming, photography and/or sound recordings at Duxford Dash to use in future event promotion. By purchasing tickets, you agree (on your own behalf and on behalf of any persons for whom you purchase tickets and who attend the Duxford Dash) that we and any third party authorised by us may include you and those you have bought tickets for in such films, photographs and/or sound recordings and may exploit such films, photographs, and sound recordings in perpetuity in any format whatsoever without payment.
