Event Overview:
The Colchester Half Marathon takes place on Sunday 16th March 2025 starting at the JobServe Community Stadium, the home of Colchester United FC, and running through the city of Colchester.
The event is proud to support The Robin Cancer Trust and their mission to save lives! This amazing local charity works tirelessly to deliver cancer awareness, education, and support to young people affected by cancer.
Although runners can support any charity close to their hearts, we encourage you to learn more about this incredible charity and their work in the community!
Course Details:
Starting and finishing at the JobServe Community Stadium - the route will take you past some of Colchester's iconic landmarks!
Thousands of people line the streets to cheer you on as you run through the City centre, and out into the scenic country lanes surrounding Colchester!

There will be prizes for the top 3 male and female finishers, and the top 3 male and female veteran finishers.
On-the-day Entry Fees:
We will not be accepting entries on the day.
Entries will close once the event reaches max capacity so we recommend entering early to avoid disappointment.

A note on headphones:
Due to new UKA rules that came into force on 01 April 2024, in the ear and over the ear headphones are no longer permitted at running events unless otherwise stated. Bone conducting headphones are permitted however, if you do choose to wear bone conducting headphones, then we ask that you have the volume turned down low enough to hear the marshal instructions.
