This was my first track marathon and it was very well organized. The support and marshalling were of a very high standard.
I would recommend this event to runners new to Marathons and to those who are experienced too.
As a club runner, the encouragement from the organizers, the marshals and the runners made this an enjoyable run.
For families, the friendly support would make a great day out too!!

Thank you so much for welcoming our runners from Flyers Southend and allowing everyone to get the best out of the event. Not a cake eater usually but the vegan chocolate cake was amazing!

Minor suggestion- have a table right next to the eighth lane for runners to put their bottles on, not just the aid tent at the corner. That way those that want refuel etc without stopping can do so. Absolutely not a criticism- just a suggestion. After all you have to have something to think about whilst you’re running in circles don’t you!

Only negative small thing would have been nice to have some music playing all over track

But generally first amazing event with zig zag will be a second one
