Traditionally taking place during the autumn, this hugely popular race is enjoying a rebirth as a summer race so that you can take advantage of dappled sunlight and summer breezes as you chase between the trees. In spite of being a challenging course, it's open to runners of all abilities from novices to experienced athletes and it's perfect for ongoing training schedules. Set against the backdrop of stunning woodland and gaining in popularity year on year, this race is a firm favourite on the racing calendar.

Directions
Race HQ and Start: Located just off Penkridge Bank Road, within Cannock Chase.
Please note that the race HQ is not located at the Main GoApe Visitor Centre.
By Car: The race is best accessed by car and there will be parking on site at Takeroo.
Please follow signs to the designated car park.
The area is also accessible by bicycle.
