Green Lane Car Park, Corwen
This regional marked footpath of 32 Miles, winds it's way through some beautfiully remote upland scenery. You'll start at the town of Corwen in the Dee Valley, and follow the signage up the Dee Valley, crossing over to the A5 in Conwy county, before climbing up to the sprawling Clocaenog Forest. You'll soon hit the shores of Llyn Brenig for the flat and scenic 'run' in to the picturesque finish on the dam. Participants will need to navigate using the existing Brenig Way waymarkers, a gpx file provided, and an event map.
Distance: 50km Ascent: 1450m
Runners can expect a great mixture of terrain, from country lanes to tecnichal clmbs and descents, grassy riverside paths and forest tracks where you can really stretch your legs!
There shall be 2 start times, based on your estimated finish time for the event. Those taking 8-10 hours shall begin their Brenig Way journey at 7am, whilst those who plan to be quicker than 8 hours shall start at 8am.
There shall be 3 checkpoint where you can access refrshments alopng the way.

Mandatory Kit List - All Runners shall be required to carry the following:
- Waterproof jacket and trousers
- Spare base layer top
- Hat & Gloves
- Whistle
- Map (provided)
- Fully charged mobile phone
- Start with 500ml of water
The race shall be electronically timed and each runners will be given a gps tracker.
