THE BEYOND THORNEY TRAIL
An off road multi terrain trail run, we have purposely designed it to be inclusive to all, with open spaces, two stunning fishing lakes, woodland and a very relaxed atmosphere with distances including, 5km, 10km, Half and 6 Hour Enduro (INDIVIDUAL OR TEAM).
Whether you're a hardcore marathon runner or just getting into trail running, or maybe you're just a supportive spouse (bring the whole family) or a friend who doesn't run, the Thorney Trail fest has something for you!
The day will be spent running a segment of trail highlighting Thorney's natural landscape.

Whether you’re setting yourself a fitness target, looking to achieve a new PB, raising money for your good cause or just coming to join the hundreds of other runners who are running for their own goals, you know you can also run just for fun.
(The event is limited of 1000 runners over all the distances)

There will be other elements to the event including Yoga, Massage and a few other bits and pieces we are working on.
The marquee will be a place for runners to relax pre and post-race(why not aid your recovery with a super soothing massage!)

The other days are just for relaxing, camping, yoga etc
We love people to challenge themselves, so we welcome you to try, and remember you have all day, so the challenge is in your hands
With a aid stations on the course, you train we will energise you
There are lots of places for spectators and plenty of things for them to do locally whilst your running, as always children 14 and under run for free, (5 km and 10 km only)
At the start/Finish there will be a bag drop (For those not camping), food, coffee and cake for sale, and an event village including a massage tent, and whatever else we can find to make it an enjoyable weekend
Prizes for first 3 place’s Male and Female for all distances inc first Junior, plus some spot prizes but off course it’s the medal you really want.
If you choose to enter with camping, you can arrive any time after 1300 on the Friday, and can stay until 1300 on Sunday, once you have booked camping, the people you are staying with should just book their running space accordingly.
Maximum campers per camping booking is 5 (Camping and running are separate bookings).
