Bedgebury National Pinetum & Forest, Bedgebury Road, Goudhurst, Kent, TN17 2SJ
A superb and stunning race using the trails that twist & turn beneath the majestic forest canopy of Bedgebury National Forest. And, with a brand new junior race offering, it's one for the family too!
We'll see you on the start line!
This is a Nice Work race
This means that it is an original Nice Work race, fully hosted and organised by us.
Event Overview:
A stunning race beneath the majestic pines at Bedgebury! This event is open to runners of all abilities, from novices to experienced athletes and is perfect for spring marathon training. If 10 mile doesn't suit, why not try the 5 mile option? You'll be in for a treat...
Course Details:
The course uses an undulating route around the trails and paths within Bedgebury Forest. There are sections which are likely to be muddy! Starting and finishing within the Pinetum the route should be quiet with no vehicle traffic, although there will be other forest users and bicycles crossing the routes, so runners should be alert to other users. The 10 mile route is two laps of the course, while the 5 mile is a single lap.
And, for our junior racers...
... is a BRAND NEW family event in the form of a junior race offering! This is a challenging junior race.
This 2km race will chip timed and will give our aspiring junior racers a chance to take part in their very own, dedicated event. The race will take place before the main race, on the trails and paths around Bedgebury and will be fully marshalled.
Because of the site location at Bedgebury, this is a relatively challenging junior race and parents of racers seven years and under should accompany their little ones. We look forward to cheering our young runners as they cross the finish line! The first boy and girl will receive a trophy.
Parents are responsible for collecting their children at the finish line. If parents are accompanying their children on this race then no additional entry is required. However, participating parents will not receive a chip time or medal. We hope that you will join us in supporting our young runners with uproarious cheers!
