Next Race: 12/07/2025
I enjoyed the race, very good organisation and very friendly people
the bike ride was a bit scary because of too many cars
Great Local race.
The best of this Triathlon the scenery, it was very nice
The only part which I didn't like was the run course, which compared with the cycling and swim course was poor. I only enjoyed the last strech, off-road.
Very nice Different race
Very different to have a swim run bike but it worked well for me as the bike seemed easy after the run. Very good challenging course. Loved the Molten Brown shower gel and the retro mug. Loads of marshals. great fun.
Great Fun!
Love the marshals, all so friendly and helpful.
3rd time for me and still enjoy it. Thank you.
friendly professional and fun.....great!
Road surface pretty patchy on bike route in many places.
Great Local race put together by people that have supported the sport for many years.
Friendly inclusive and fun at a grass roots level, there arn't many better ways to spend a Sunday morning especially with good weather.
Great local triathlon, excellent for beginners
For the summer races at HOAC there are often other events on the same day and the lane into HOAC gets very jammed up with cars as the triathletes leave. For school summer holiday courses HOAC usually have a person at each end of the lane on 2 way radios with stop/go boards at peak entry and exit times. Could a couple of marshals do the same thing on race days?
Don't let cars arriving for other things after the race park in the transition area until it is clear of kit (or get people to move their kit earlier).
Breakspear Road is getting ever more potholed, I suggest members use the Hillingdon council website reporting service to alert the council to this. I did this a few weeks ago after a double puncture under the railway bridge, they responded by filling in the offending pothole, which was good, but they only did that one. It will take a few more reports to get the whole road up to a serviceable state!
Friendly and welcoming.
A pain getting out of the car park at the end!
A great event run by great people.
More prior information required concerning the cycle route and obstacles. I appreciate the last minute errectio of maintenance work. However in the past I have been involved in a cycle accident after nearly colliding with a stationary council refuge van the appeared on the course without any prior warning to the race organisers.
Fun and thoroughly enjoyable
Very hilly
I like this TRI, 2nd one and I'll do all 3 races this year.
Great set up and people, thanks for arranging and to the support staff to make it a great event.
Excellent for beginners switch back on run and riding laps helps see other people.
Looking forward to signing up for another one.
Well organised friendly event
First of all thank you for allowing me, a non club member, to compete. As this appeared to be mainly a club event. Good location easy to find and park etc. Registration was simple and easy. Liked that race officers allowed a warm up swim before the start. This was very helpful and does not happen at other events. Marshall perhaps need to be out a little longer as the only person with an arrow on the last roundabout was pointing the wrong way, this turned out to be one of the Rotary Club marshals fortunately this was on my second time round and therefore knew way to go.
A pity there were no timing chips but I appreciate that this maybe to keep the costs down.
A very enjoyable event which I would be very happy to compete at again. Though I need a little more training to keep up with your guys!
Excellent first triathlon
This was my first ever triathlon event and was a really great introduction
Another brilliant event run by Hillingdon tri club
