Great event. Would recommend

Lovely event. Good out and back route, albeit twice for the 20 miler. The 3 and 5 lock rises were interesting but added that bit of a challenge. Only thing I'd say would be beneficial to add would be a couple of signs to warn walkers/cyclists of event as despite the obvious runners coming towards, lack of moving over to one side and consideration was disappointing and I also ended up i the canal. We all share the path so a couple of signs might help jog there memory for future. Other than that a good event. Thank you.

Awesome 1st time doing Half Marathon

Staff are very welcoming and make you feel relaxed before the run....
Plenty of food and drink for after crawling across the line

A good challenging run out

Mostly flat...if you exclude the 3 and 5 lock rise, but apart from that, beautiful scenery, a well organised event by friendly and passionate people and good treats to aod with recovery! Having run many marathons i find the grim ones to be always enjoyable....sort of. ;-)
