The water station at Broomfield Hill Wood should be moved to about 4.5 miles, rather than after the hill. “Steep” doesn’t do it justice, and it would have been good to be able to take on water and snacks before the hill

I have been competing in and enjoying Gareth's events for a number of years now. I will continue to do so for as long as my old body allows me.

Really well organised and a few little hills thrown in for good measure. Would definitely recommend

Hi - it was difficullt with the rain beforehand. So difficult to do a warm up - was any done? I wasn't aware?

Race length was over 13.1 I believe - was it that accurate?

Marshalls were great btw.

Some of the marshalls had got bored by the time the last runners went past, so weren't really on the ball with manning drinks stations, etc. I know the weather was terrible and, as a volunteer marshall myself, I know it can be a bit dull and you get cold, but it would have been nice to have had a bit more engagement towards the end of the course.

The miles markers were not accurate, and even by sticking to the route throughout, I ran 13.44 miles.
The organisers were lovely and the support was great.

First class event - superbly organised, amazing route, we absolutely loved it and we had a bit of luck with the weather
