Reading Triathlon, Aquathlon & Aquabike

H2O Swim Centre, Pingewood, Reading, RG30 3UN

The Reading Triathlon & Aquathlon was the very first triathlon event to take place in the UK, and was held at the Kirtons Farm Water Sports Centre back in 1983. Tri2O Triathlon Club now bring you the Reading Triathlon, a race run by triathletes for triathletes, still at the original venue!

The Reading Triathlon has five fantastic race options for you.

Sprint Distance Triathlon

Standard Distance Triathlon

Sprint Relay Triathlon

Sprint Distance Aquathlon

Standard Distance Aquabike

The race itself takes in an open water swim in the lovely waters of the H2O Swim Centre, followed by a stunning cycle course around the local lanes of Burghfield, Mortimer, Silchester, Stratfield Saye and Grazeley, before finishing off with a run around a lakeside trail.

When you enter please make sure you put our email address events@tri2o.club in your safe sender list. Emails otherwise may go to your spam/junk folder.

We are aiming to make our race as sustainable as possible. We don't give away t-shirts at the end of the event, as we have found guessing the sizing often leads to a lot of waste at the end of the event and a few disapointed people. This year we will be asking participants to bring their own swim hat. For those of you who love an event swim hat, fear not we have given you the option to purchase one when registering.
