Great race, in beautiful West Kent countryside. Really well organised and marshalled, and perfectly timed for anyone doing a spring marathon.

I love the route, but if you are looking for a flat 13.1 miles, this isn't for you, and the three-hour cut-off means you have to run (no hikers). The final section is rather narrow, making overtaking in the last mile difficult. But the overall organisation is great. They even arranged for the rain to stop just as the race was starting!

Great event

Please provide toilets along the route. It was very uncomfortable running on a full bladder. This also means that the event isn’t inclusive for women.

Have run in past and lovely route, but not being allowed to defer entry after an injury was not very professional.

Excellent half marathon for all!

Lovely wooden medal, friendly marshals whole way round, well supported throughout by locals, samba band, choir, country band, loads of refreshments, value massage at end. Perfect event!

Brutal hills - needs thorough preparation.

Excellent marshalling, especially the lady supervising the portaloos before the start. Very unglamorous job, but she got the queue moving really well, and there were enough loos (for a change). I personally was very grateful for her contribution (I'm an old man ...).

THAT hill, it just kept giving!

Thank you so much to all the amazing volunteers. This was our first half marathon event and it was very well organised, sign posted and the atmosphere was fantastic.

Lovely route and at the same time challenging

Great to see 'green cups' at water stations. Would have liked details a few weeks earlier.

Friendly and organised

Well run event, clearly organised and marshalled by runners, who know what other runners want and need. Excellent communication pre event. Main gripe for me would be the route. It’s beautiful, and the left side of the road is clearly closed, but you do get (very considerate) oncoming traffic, which isn’t cone’d off. Some might find it a bit un nerving. If this isn’t an issue for you, then it’s an excellent event.
