Of all the things which make our riders come back to the Haydon Hundred year after year, surely high on the list are our fabulous flapjacks. We all know about the beautiful scenery and the testing gradients, but maybe the best post-event feedback of all concerns the delicious fare available at our feed stations every year. In 2024 our flapjacks were baked by Gary Thompson, chef proprietor of the General Havelock Inn in the village and came in for fulsome praise for their delicious flavours as well as their refuelling properties.
