You choose the location, dates, daily distances and we do the rest.

 

We will arrange the logistics, baggage transfer, first aid trained guides, accommodation, locally sourced food, yoga or swimming instructors (upon request), massuers or nutritionsist, as well as expert speakers and more often than not, the evening’s entertainment!


You will need a minimum of 4 people and the camp will be at least 2 nights and 2 days.

 

We can arrange wild running camps anywhere in South West England, most notably in Dartmoor National Park, Exmoor or close to the South West Coast Path, as well as in Wales, (Snowdonia National Park/Brecons etc), as well as in the North West Highlands, the Lake District or Andalusia. We may also be able to provide camps outside these areas in special circumstances.

 

You can choose to rough it and sleep under the stars, opt for a comfortable bed and a glass of wine or a combination of both.
Prices vary according to the location, the number of runners and the duration and start from £280 per person.

 

We also arrange to guide bespoke Dartmoor Crossings at night and by day. in any direction for a minimum of two people or corporate groups. Please fill out our enquiry form and we will respond as quickly as possible.

 

Sample Itinerary

 

Sample Itinerary for the Lakes Fell Running Camp (based on our 2024 camp)

 

Friday pm:

  • Evening run 5.30pm. 10k approx as a group.
  • 7.30pm Dinner and Intro at bunkhouse or farmhouse

Sat am:

  • 8am breakfast.
  • 9-9.30am: Morning run to Coniston 8m approx
  • 11am-1pm: Watch start and/or finish of Coniston fell race, plus picnic lunch out (near course).
  • 4-5pm: Late run for those who want a second run. 4 to 6 miles. The rest of the group can chill.

  • Showers then dinner at 7pm, cooked by me.

 

Sunday:

  • 8am Breakfast:
  • 9am: Morning run. Different route.
  • 6-10 miles depending on preferences and ability.
  • 12 -1pm: Picnic lunch with whole group. Swim option
  • 2pm: Chill time and perhaps some tips on fell running technique and navigation practice
  • 6pm: Drive to Blacksmiths Arms
  • 9.30pm-10pm: Return to accommodation

 

Monday morning:

8am breakfast:

9-9.30am: Short run (everyone who wants). 4 to 6 miles.

10am: Leave.

NB: Just to give you an idea, last year we had people coming from Oxford, Manchester, Bristol, North Devon, Thatcham and Liverpool.

There is a steam train, which goes in to Eskdale, and there are two pubs in the village, which is really close to the barn.
